French Quarter Streets in New Orleans, Some Quiet Time

Friday, August 17th, 2012

New Orleans French Quarter Streets can be much quieter than many people would think.  The residentail areas tend to be much quieter and very historic and beautiful.  It ain’t all Bourbon Street. I always like to get these street shots when it is quiet.  Everyone one going on a walking tour. Locals and Tourists as well. So much history in each block.

French Quarter Street in New Orleans

Alleys in the French Quarter are not the norm but most streets are made for walking.  Thhis way you can see al lot more.  The city can then charge for driving and let people park for free at an offsite parking lot.  Maybe we nver elect our best minds but only those that can raise the most money.   Thinking out loud.  That would both conservatives and liberals who see the status quo and never the future.
